    Are Solar Panels Worth It?

    Saving With Solar Power

Many people are interested in solar panels, but the price is somewhat intimidating. However, the cost of solar panels reduces every year, thanks partly to Solar Energy Technologies Office investments (SETO).

    Government Encouragement

SETO’s goal is to reduce our reliance on carbon power. In order to accomplish this, SETO is trying to make solar affordable and accessible.

The federal government also offers a 30% tax credit for home solar panel installation from 2022 to 2032. With this, you can earn money, while also saving it.

    Property Value

Solar panels increase your property value by $20 for every dollar you save on average annual energy costs, according to nrel.gov. Therefore, if you save $200 a month with solar power, your home is expected to be worth $48,000 more.

    Energy Bills

The initial cost of solar power might scare you off, but you receive a return on your investment with every energy bill. In fact, below is a photo of an energy bill from one of our customers who actually was owed money by their energy supplier after installing solar panels!

    Texas Power Grid

With the help of solar energy, you can stay off of the Texas power grid. During February 2021, Texas suffered blackouts due to lack of power. More than 4.5 million homes and businesses were without electricity, some for several days. Injury and death accompanied this crisis. With the help of solar power for your home, you can always have peace of mind and electricity.

    The Environment

Natural gasses used to create energy are one of the most harmful factors impacting our planet. Solar panels are sustainable energy sources and even our federal government financially encourages their use.
